It’s the technique, not just the oil. Our Moroccan argan massage follows the traditional oriental method — deeper, more deliberate pressure, with the therapist reading where tension is held rather than following a fixed sequence. Plenty of places use argan oil; far fewer perform the ritual it was actually designed for.
Is the pressure firm or gentle?+
Generally firmer than our standard relaxing massage, though always adjusted to you. The traditional Moroccan technique uses more deliberate pressure than a typical European-style massage. Tell your therapist at any point if you’d prefer it lighter or firmer — she will adjust immediately.
What do I need to prepare before my therapist arrives?+
Nothing at all. Your therapist arrives with a professional massage table, warmed argan oil and disposable shorts. We simply ask for a clear space of approximately 2m × 1.5m and a comfortable room temperature. Setup and pack-down are included.
How much does a Moroccan argan massage cost in Marrakech?+
From 700 MAD (approx. £66 / €78) for 60 minutes. The 90-minute treatment is 990 MAD (approx. £93 / €110), and the 120-minute ritual with facial finish is 1,200 MAD (approx. £113 / €133). Travel is included within 15 km of Marrakech Medina. Full details on our price list page.
Is the argan oil genuinely pure, or blended with other products?+
We use 100% cold-pressed Moroccan argan oil, sourced locally. Depending on the session, it may be blended with a small amount of eucalyptus or Damascus rose, but the base is always genuine, unrefined argan — never a synthetic or diluted alternative.
Which session length do you recommend?+
The 90-minute massage is what most first-time guests choose — it covers the full body without rushing. The 60-minute session works well if you’re short on time or want to focus on back and shoulders. The 120-minute ritual adds a relaxing facial finish for the most complete version of the treatment.
Can I combine this with a hammam?+
Yes — and many guests do, since this is traditionally how a Moroccan argan treatment is taken. A hammam ritual beforehand opens the pores, which makes the argan oil noticeably more effective. WhatsApp us and we’ll put together a bespoke programme around your schedule.
Do you offer happy ending massages?+
